Calling all future innovators! On July 20, East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) proudly kicked off the 2026 Macau & Tin Ka Ping Foundation STEM Summer Camp for Secondary School Students. Co-hosted by the Ministry of Education and Macau’s Education and Youth Development Bureau, this premier event brings together 60 outstanding high schoolers from Macau and 115 brilliant peers from ten central and western provinces. It is your ultimate chance to connect, create, and shine!

During the inspiring opening ceremony, leaders from ECUST’s international education, pharmacy, math, and information science schools warmly welcomed the campers. Deputy Dean Tian Ye delivered a powerful message, urging students to cultivate deep patriotism, forge cross-regional friendships, and sharpen their tech skills to fuel national development. Student representatives from both Macau and the central-western regions shared their excitement, promising to make the most of this incredible research journey and use their newfound knowledge to serve the country.
