Recently, the College of International Education, ECUST organized a corporate visit to Kingfa Sci. & Tech. Co., Ltd. for 40 international students from 17 countries, including Indonesia, Russia, Morocco, and Kazakhstan. The event was part of the “Enterprise Connection and Career Development” module under the second classroom initiative, encouraging student participation in practical learning activities.
During the visit, students gathered in the company’s lecture hall to learn about Kingfa’s development journey. From its humble beginnings in a few small laboratories to becoming a global leader in advanced chemical new materials, Kingfa’s products are now widely used in automotive, home appliances, electronics, medical healthcare, new energy, and rail transportation. Dr. Hou Qiuye, a 2022-level doctoral student from the university currently interning at Kingfa, shared his hands-on experience, offering valuable insights into career planning and inspiring his peers to reflect on their own professional paths.

Students then toured several core laboratories, including the weighing room for precise weighing, sample pretreatment rooms, material analysis and spectroscopy labs, thermal analysis rooms, chromatography labs, and electrical testing facilities. All laboratories are equipped with world-class analytical instruments and operate under standardized management systems.

At the product exhibition center, students explored Kingfa’s representative innovations, such as lightweight and high-strength automotive interior and exterior materials, fully biodegradable environmental protection tableware and mulch films, high-temperature resistant and corrosion-resistant specialty engineering plastic components, and electromagnetic shielding materials for 5G communication and smart terminals. The exhibits vividly demonstrated the company’s philosophy that “materials make life better.”

The visit not only broadened students’ professional horizons but also built a cognitive bridge between academic learning and industrial practice. Kingfa’s commitment to innovation and industry leadership left a deep impression on both students and faculty. CIE will continue to strengthen cooperation with high-quality employers through enterprise visits, internships, and corporate mentorship programs to better align talent cultivation with industrial demands.
